November 8, 2018 | Josh Schooler For 40 years, Entergy Texas has worked to be a good neighbor at our Lewis Creek Power Plant located on Longstreet Road. As our region grows, the need to provide additional reliable, affordable power has grown as well. To meet this growth, Entergy Texas is building the Montgomery County Power Station, a new source of reliable, low-cost energy to power Southeast Texas into the future. This new facility will be located on Entergy’s property next to the Lewis Creek Power Plant on Longstreet Rd. Our highest priority is to construct this new facility safely for our employees, contractors, and the community we serve. To support this goal, we will continue to communicate with the local residents and our community on what is occurring throughout this process. To provide an overview of this project and answer any questions you may have, we are hosting an Open House on Friday, November 9, 2018 from 6:00 pm – 8:00pm at the Willis City Hall. Also at this Open House will be representatives of the Community Advisory Board that Entergy Texas has established. This board is comprised of local community leaders, and their mission is to act as your advocate during this process.
